How do I reduce AKS costs?+
Right-size node pools to real utilisation, use spot node pools for interruptible workloads, bin-pack with autoscaling, and clean up idle resources. North Peak Cloud builds this in and monitors it as part of AKS cost optimisation.
Is AKS right for my workload?+
AKS suits workloads that benefit from container orchestration — microservices, scalable APIs, portable platforms. For simpler apps, Azure App Service or Container Apps may be cheaper and easier. We advise per workload rather than defaulting to Kubernetes.
